Why does the hotspot have a “cycle end date” or “data allowance has run out” message displayed on the device?
Please disregard any messages that display a “cycle end date” or that “data allowance has run out”. The library hotspots are on an unlimited plan. T-Mobile does not have a mechanism for disabling these messages. The messages do not mean the hotspots will stop working.

Can I renew a Wi-Fi hotspot kit?
Hotspots can be renewed up to five times unless someone else is waiting for the device. Hotspots are disabled after the due date.

How do I use a Wi-Fi hotspot?
Instructions will be provided with each hotspot kit. If further assistance is needed, T-Mobile, who provides the device and the network, will provide technical support. Library staff are available to assist customers who need help requesting a hotspot.
