The annual OCLS Writers Conference will be virtual in 2025!

Make 2025 the year you finish and publish a novel. The OCLS Writers Conference will provide the tools and knowledge you need to reach your writing and publishing goals this year. Authors and publishing professionals will teach workshops on both craft and business topics.

Jennie Jarvis

Jennie Jarvis is an award-winning screenwriter, novelist, story consultant, and college educator. Her textbook, Crafting The Character Arc, is used in creative writing classrooms around the world. She teaches screenwriting and helps oversee the Full Sail Writing Conference.

Michael Mammay

Michael Mammay is the author of the military sci-fi Planetside series and sci-fi adventure The Misfit Soldier.

Alli Martin

Alli Martin is a science fiction and alternate history author, as well as a freelance editor. Alli holds an MFA in Fiction from the University of Central Florida, runs the writing group Central Florida Inklings.

Kristen Stieffel

Kristen Stieffel is a writer and freelance editor specializing in speculative fiction. Kristen is a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association, Christian Editor Connection, and American Christian Fiction Writers.

Sheree Greer

Sheree L. Greer is a writer, teacher, and arts administrator living in Tampa, Florida. She is the author of two novels, Let the Lover Be (Bold Strokes Books 2014) and A Return to Arms (Bold Strokes Books 2016).

Shannon A. Thompson

Shannon A. Thompson is an author, speaker, and habitual chatterbox. She is represented by Gallt & Zacker Literary Agency. Thompson is the best-selling author of the Timely Death trilogy and the Bad Bloods series.

Ginny Myers Sain

Ginny Myers Sain is the New York Times bestselling author of DARK AND SHALLOW LIES (2021), SECRETS SO DEEP (2022), ONE LAST BREATH (2024), and WHEN THE BONES SING (2025).

Paula Weiman

Paula Weiman joined the ASH Literary team in 2023 as an Agent after a career in literary scouting and educational publishing. Based in New York and with a background in foreign rights, they bring an international approach to selling their clients’ work.

Elle E. Ire

Lorin Oberweger is a highly sought-after independent book editor and ghostwriter with almost thirty years experience in publishing. Her company, Free Expressions, offers intensive, deep craft workshops nationwide.

Anjanette Barr

Anjanette Barr is an Associate Literary Agent at Dunham Literary, Inc. She has been working in various branches of the writing and publishing world for over a decade.

Monica Rodriguez

Monica Rodriguez is a literary agent and the Director of Brand Management at Context Literary Agency.
