Virtual Events

Registration is required for virtual Storytime events.

Event Descriptions:

  • Pajama Party (ages 3-5) – Put on your pajamas and join us virtually for stories, songs, and a craft.

In-Person Events

Registration is not required for in-person Storytime events.

Event Descriptions:

  • Family Storytime (all ages) – Storytime is the right time for family time. Reading together is a wonderful way to bond and learn from one another. Bring your families together for fun stories that are designed for all ages. Family Storytime schedule >
  • Tiny Tales (ages birth – 18 months) – The rhythm and repetition of nursery rhymes introduce babies to literature. Hold your child in your lap and enjoy this special time together!
  • Toddler Time (ages 18 months – 3 years) – Movement activities combined with songs, finger plays, picture books and flannel board stories encourage active toddlers in developing verbal and listening skills.
  • Storybook Fun (ages 3 – 5) – Participation in storytelling, picture book stories and fun songs engage children in pre-reading through early literacy practices such as talking, singing and playing.
  • Zero to Five Storytime (ages birth – 5 years) – Interaction with simple rhymes, movement and songs along with picture books and flannel board stories create a perfect storytime for children of all ages!

Thanksgiving Closure

Orange County Library System will be closed starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27 and remain closed through Friday, November 29 in observance of Thanksgiving. The library system will resume normal business hours on Saturday, November 30. Learn more about library closures >

Upcoming Southwest Branch Closure

Southwest Branch will be closed Monday, December 2 through Thursday, December 5 for replacement of the HVAC system. The book drop will remain open. We plan to reopen for normal business hours on Friday, December 6.
