Ancestry-tracing companies have been offering genealogical DNA testing for years, but it was only around 2007 that a new genetic analysis using autosomal chromosomes brought about a major shift to the industry. The West Oaks Branch Library houses the Orange County Library System’s genealogy collection, which contains more than 20,000 books and bound periodicals, 10,000 microfiche and over 15,000 reels of microfilm.
