How can juveniles access the Studios and Equipment?

If the juvenile wants to use the equipment in one of the studios, each person including the juvenile and the accompanied adult, must attend the desired Studio Access Orientation. Only the juvenile will then take the assessment which is given by an instructor. Once the requirements of the assessment are fulfilled, the accompanied adult will book the studio using their library card. All library cards including the juvenile and the accompanied adult must be in good standing. The day of the reservation, the accompanied adult who booked the studio will participate in the check in process. The accompanying adult may leave during the reservation but must return at the end of the session to check out and remains financially responsible for any damage or missing equipment during the reservation. If the juvenile fails to meet the assessment requirements, the instructor will recommend the appropriate equipment training class(es). The juvenile can then be assessed again at a later time to show proficiency in using the equipment.
