Summer at Your Library: Save the Date!

Fun, educational and free events and activities will be available for all ages. In 2025, the Summer Program will be Color Our World. Check back on May 1 to view upcoming events and to pre-register for the Reading Challenge. If you'd like to be notified when registration for online events opens, please subscribe to one of the following groups listed in our e-newsletter sign-up form.

Here are some highlights from 2024:

  • This year, 6,028 youth ages 0-18 received a free book, sponsored by the Friends of the Library, when they signed up for the summer reading program.
  • Youth ages 0-18 read a combined total of 2,846,195 minutes read.
  • Over 3,800 Goodie Bags and 300 Grand Prizes, generously sponsored by Window World, were given away!
  • 724 adults participated in our Adult Summer Reading Program Beanstack Challenge.
