Giving Tuesday is in just a week!

Giving Tuesday

Each year, nonprofit organizations around the world call on their supporters to help raise funds for the meaningful work they do in their communities on Giving Tuesday. Entering its seventh year, Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. This year, we are raising funds for the Friends of the Library to support early learning programs for children, adult education programs, creative programs offered in the Melrose Center, and our Summer Reading Program. In 2017, we raised more than $1,000 and this year we are seeking raise $2,500 for the vital services that members of our community depend on each day.

If you would like to participate, you can make a gift to the Friends of the Library online or mail your donation to:

101 E. Central Blvd. Orlando, FL 32801

After you make your donation, share one the photos below to your Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook profile and help spread the word about the library’s #GivingTuesday efforts. Through your advocacy, we can continue to change lives in our community.

If the library has made an impact in your life, we’d love to hear about it. Tell us your story in the comments below or tag us on social media with #LoveOCLS.
