The Adventure Comes to You!

Virtual Summer Reading Program

While our Summer Reading Program looks a bit different this year, staff are as committed as ever to putting their talents and creativity toward our new Virtual Summer Reading Program. Typically, we would encourage our families to come into our libraries to make crafts with us, to dance and sing with us, and to make memories with us over the summer. But given the still-present concerns about COVID-19, we are encouraging our customers to share their summer adventures with us online.

To that end, staff have come up with a few ways to celebrate the fun of Summer Reading with you over social media.

If you’re on Facebook, consider spreading the word about the library’s Virtual Summer Reading Program by adding our Facebook Profile Frame to profile picture. Visit the Facebook Profile Frame area to add it to your page!

Below we’ve gathered a series of hand-drawn, original pieces of artwork by library Graphic Designer Kelly W. for families to print, cut out, and color to celebrate the Virtual Summer Reading Program. You can turn them into photo props, die cuts for a poster board story, pieces for a collage, and more. What you choose to make with them is only limited by your imagination! To use them in your next creative project, right-click and choose “Save” to save them to your computer. Then, print them out on copy paper and let your imagination run wild.
