I Am Love: A Book of Compassion by Susan Verde, illustrated by Peter H. Reynolds
A celebration of love in all its forms, this book asks readers to look inward when they feel afraid and to act with compassion and kindness, to live with gratitude, and to take care of themselves by practicing self-love.

Worm Loves Worm by J.J. Austrian, illustrated by Mike Curato
Selected as one of the “LGBTQ+ books for kids to read during Pride Month” by Time Out magazine, this irresistible debut picture book is a celebration of love in all its splendid forms. When a worm meets a special worm and they fall in love, you know what happens next?

Mixed: A Colorful Story by Arree Chung
In the beginning, there were three colors . . . Reds, Yellows and Blues. All special in their own ways, all living in harmony – until one day, a Red says, “Reds are the best!” and starts a color kerfuffle. When the colors decide to separate, is there anything that can change their minds?

The I Love You Book by Todd Parr
This colorful picture book explores the meaning of unconditional love in a heartfelt and playful way. Perfect for Valentine’s Day and beyond, parents and caregivers will no doubt be inspired by its tender sentiments and will enjoy sharing it with the little ones they love.

Hair Love by Matthew A. Cherry, illustrated by Vashti Harrison
It’s up to Daddy to give his daughter an extra-special hair style in this ode to self-confidence and the love between fathers and daughters, from Academy Award-winning director and former NFL wide receiver Matthew A. Cherry.

“I love that Hair Love is highlighting the relationship between a Black father and daughter. Matthew leads the ranks of new creatives who are telling unique stories of the Black experience. We need this.”
