Nothing goes hand-in-hand better than schools and libraries – two institutions dedicated to learning, growth and development. That’s why, every August, we like to feature back-to-school events designed to help parents and kids prepare for the return to the classroom. We’ll have a back-to-school virtual celebration on August 5, with storytimes, crafts and activities to get started. Then, all month long, we’ll hold other virtual events where you can learn things like how to sew a pencilcase, how to prepare easy back-to-school meals, how to make DIY back-to-school gear and more.
Next month, you can join other parents and children online at storytimes, craft activities, kindergarten preparation workshops and more. On September 18, we’ll kick off our Hispanic Heritage Month festivities with Mexican Danza, a performance of folkloric dances from Mexico.
