On September 26, we’ll celebrate the art of visual storytelling through short films with the Melrose Film Festival at Orlando Public Library. Enjoy screenings of the 31 finalist films; categories this year include Artificial Intelligence Shorts, Animated Shorts, Documentaries, Micro Short Films and Short Films.
Our popular Music in the Library series continues this month with Saturday Jazz featuring clarinetist Joe Fritz and guitarist Martin Sensiper at North Orange September 12 and West Oaks on September 19, and guitarist German Collazos at Winter Garden Branch on September 19. We have a robust selection of macrame, knitting and sewing classes for adults, families, teens and kids; fall is the perfect time to unwind and learn a new fiber art.
