On Thursday, September 25, Orange County Library System was one of several businesses honored at Horizon West Magazine’s “Good Stuff Awards,” held at picturesque Southern Hill Farms.

OCLS was recognized in two categories: as the winner in Destination for Fun for library pop-up events at the Waterleigh Clubhouse and honoree in Nearby Gem for our physical locations. Neighborhood Services Administrator Danielle King, Horizon West Branch Manager Lelia Higgins and Outreach Specialist Ethan Watford attended the event and accepted the awards.
Making library resources and programming more accessible by taking our services outside library walls is a focus for Orange County Library System.
The Good Stuff Awards in Horizon West celebrates community excellence among local businesses and organizations. It’s all about community empowerment as residents first nominate and then cast their votes for the enterprises that bring joy to our neighborhood.
